Some of the AML and KYC Gambling failures include:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Failing to consistently obtain needed KYC identification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failing to consistently obtain Source of Funds documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poor record keeping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several social responsibility failures were also identified including having insufficient controls in place to protect new customers &amp; to monitor spending and play duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Betfred operates 1,750 betting shops and all of the fine they pay will go towards socially responsible causes. Betfred also operates online gambling businesses which were fined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk\/news\/article\/petfre-gibraltar-ltd-trading-as-betfred-and-oddsking-fined-gbp2-9m\">\u00a32.87m<\/a> last year for similar failures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Know-Your-Player\/Know-Your-Customer: Gambling Online &amp; In-Person<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/truthtechnologies.com\/es\/aml-gaming-gambling\/\">Money laundering in casinos<\/a> and\/or gaming centers has been a known problem for quite some time.
